✰ All artwork commissioned is for personal use only.
✰ Personal use includes displaying artwork on social media accounts with no direct monetisation and CREDIT MUST BE GIVEN.
✰ When commissioning or purchasing any art I retain the full copyright of the art, meaning these are for non-commercial use.
✰ Commissioned work is not allowed to be copied, edited, modified, resold, recoloured, redistributed or used in any way other than the purpose for which the work was originally commissioned, without receiving permission in the form of an official agreement or proof thereof. This applies to all F2U/P2U shop items.
✰ Commercial rights can be requested any time before, during or after a commission. A commercial rights fee will be paid per artwork design, which is calculated as the current price + 200%.
✰ Commissioned work is not allowed to be used commercially for ANY REASON if commercial rights were not given and PAID in full. Proof of this commercial license agreement will be presented in the form of an "artwork release form."
✰ Should copyright infringement occur in any way, any rights to the artwork will be retracted.✰ Unlicensed use of artwork and design files will result in a DMCA takedown action against the Twitch account, YouTube account, Facebook Gaming, or any other social media profile where they are in unlicensed use, plus all other applicable reports against the account. If an individual or entity is found to resell these files, they will be subject to applicable criminal or civil action.✰ I maintain the rights to display my artwork on my social media. If you do not wish for me to share it, please state this during your request.
✰ I tend to post work in progress photos to my Twitter, if you do not wish for me to share photos of your project prior to completion or if you are planning a debut at a later date, please notify me beforehand.
✰ Please credit me when used on Twitch, Discord or anywhere else by leaving a link to my Twitter (@creatdbymikaela) and my Etsy shop (CreatedbyMikaela).
✰ Payments are made through PayPal, or orders can be placed on Etsy. I will issue an invoice once before I start your commission.
✰ There will be an additional 5% fee included in your base commission price due to PayPal’s transfer fee.
✰ I require payment in full before I begin working on your commission.
✰ Please don't send me any kind of payment unless I have accepted your commission and requested payment.
✰ If you fail to send your payment within 48 hours of receiving your invoice, I have the right to cancel your commission.
✰ I work on commissions from Monday to Friday. I am a human too and also deserve time off. <3 Rush orders (faster delivery time) are available at an additional cost, please ask me about it when commissioning me.
✰ I only provide digital files (not printed art) in the sizes specified under commission pricing, unless specified by the client otherwise.
✰ I reserve the right to increase the price if you request a complex or high difficulty drawing.
✰ It is not my responsibility to ensure your emote idea adheres to Twitch’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, please look into it prior to your request.
✰ I reserve the right to cancel your order at any time. A full refund will be provided if I decide to cancel.
✰ Due to the nature of this work, there will be no refunds available once I have started working on the sketch.
✰ I will always try and complete your order ASAP, but please be patient with me. I will give you a rough ETA upon accepting your payment.
✰ I will keep you up to date with the progress on your project and notify you if there are any delays.
✰ By purchasing or commissioning any of my art, you are accepting my Terms of Service.
commission process
1. COLLECT COMMISSION DETAILS
For me to accept your commission I need:
✰ Your preferred name
✰ What art you want me to create
✰ Preferred email address
✰ Twitch Handle or Discord Server
✰ Character/Subject images and reference photos.Please make sure you have all of these details before contacting me. I understand this can be a time consuming process but this helps me ensure I know what you are looking for (and that you know what you're looking for) and if it's doable for me! Even if I don't accept your request, it's so helpful for any other artist.2. CONTACT ME
Please send me all the commission details to Twitter (@creatdbymikaela), Discord (CreatedByMikaela) or via chat on my Etsy store.3. ACCEPT OR DECLINE
Once I have reviewed your request, I may ask a few more questions before I decide to accept or decline your request. If I do decline your request, it is typically because I am not comfortable drawing your request, I am unable to due to the amount of work I have taken on, I'm not sure if I will do a good job on it, or.. if you appear to be difficult to work with.4. PAYMENT
Once I have accepted your request I will direct you to pay me via PayPal or my Etsy shop. I will only start your commission once I have received payment.Please be respectful of my time and other people's time. I kindly ask you try to respond in a timely manner, failure to respond or pay within 48 hours may result in cancellation of your commission.5. SKETCHING
Sketching will begin upon receiving your payment. Depending on the size of your project, this can take a 1-3 days, I'll usually give you a rough estimation of when I will have your sketches for you to review.Once I have completed your sketches, they will be sent to you for approval prior to any line art or colouring. This will be the only time you can request changes with no additional charge (max 2 revisions with no extra charges).Please do not hesitate to tell me (politely!) if you'd like to change anything about the sketches and don't be afraid of offending me! I always ensure to do my best work for my clients and I want you to be happy with the service you are paying for.Once sketches have been approved, I will proceed to completing your project!6. FINAL DRAWINGS & RESIZING
I will reach out again once your drawings are complete. The only changes that can be made here with no additional charges will be minor. If there are any mistakes I made, I will definitely fix it for no charge!Once the final drawing is approved, I will resize it to the respective sizes for you to upload to Twitch/YouTube/Discord (unless discussed otherwise), and then upload them to a shared Google Drive using your email provided.
